“We are fighting on eight fronts. We are actively preparing for the Lok Sabha polls. Our agenda is very clear. Out of twelve proposed Sankalp Rally, we have successful organized four,” he told reporters after emerging from a 'Janata Ke Durbur Mein Mukhyamantri' programme at his official residence in the state capital.

He also made it clear that the issue of demanding special status to Bihar would be one among the party’s top agenda.

The Chief Minister said that the Congress-led UPA government at the Centre has put the issue of special category status to Bihar on the back burner.

“We will certainly raise the issue in 2014 Lok Sabha polls," Kumar added.

When asked to comment on the speculation regarding the projection of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi as a prime minister candidate for 2014 elections by present Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, he said, "It's an internal matter of a political party."
