The JEE (Main)-2014 will be organised by the JEE Apex Board for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by NITs, IIITs and other Centrally funded technical institutions, participating State Government Institutions etc.
As per the new format, aspirants for IIT will have to appear for JEE Main and then for JEE Advance. To appear in JEE Advance Examination, clearing JEE Mains is compulsory along with attaining rank among 1,50,000 of merit list. JEE Mains is scheduled to be held in April 2014.
Of total 1,50,000 top rankers, 75,750 are reserved for general merit list and the rest are for reserved category candidates.
