Addressing a maiden press conference at Tilak Pustkalay (Congress Bhawan) here, Khan, accompanied by district in-charge of the party Jawaharlal Sinha and the lone party MLA from the district Banna Gupta, said the aim of the program was to reach out to rural masses, which comprised 65 to 70 percent of the population.
The district has been divided into 17 divisions and an observer would be nominated for each division, who along with the party leaders will visit remote places in rural pockets to highlight the good work done by the party, he said.
We are expecting the assembly election to take place in next three months time and accordingly launch the program to identify immaculate and popular party candidate, Khan said.
