Ranchi: After holding marathon meeting with Ministers and secretaries of different departments, Jharkhand Chief Minister Arjun Munda has asked all his ministers to apprise people of the achievements of the state in the past ten months.

He said the state government from now onwards would submit its report card before people in every three months. "Transparent governance is my priority. We are planning to launch a campaign to fight corruption,” he added.

He categorically said the development of Jharkhand is his paramount responsibility. Slamming the Central government, he said, “The Centre is doing a step-brotherly treatment with Jharkhand. Even if our state provides maximum amount of raw materials, we are deprived of getting appropriate share in the revenue.”

Highlighting the future course of action, Munda said, “There is a plan to connect Panchayats to the state headquarters through road. The government is mulling to give the responsibility of handling the resources to Panchayats, which would be provided with a fund of Rs 5000 crore.”
