Ranchi: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has opposed the UPA government's proposals of FDI in retail, pension and insurance sectors.

"JMM's Core Committee meeting held on Wednesday has decided to oppose FDI in retail, pension and insurance sectors," JMM vice president Sudhir Mahto said on Thursday over phone.

"The meeting also asked the state government to provide additional three subsidised gas cylinders to the people of Jharkhand," the former deputy chief minister said.

The JMM supports the Arjun Munda government in the state and the Congress-led UPA government from outside at the Centre.
