Ranchi: After spotting blunders in the model answer papers of Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) preliminary exam on its website, members of Chhatra Jagaran Manch staged strong protests outside the JPSC office in the state.

The protest rose after JPSC published answers to its preliminary exam in which eminent historian Romila Thapar has been mentioned as a dancer and the voting age in India has been pegged at 28. Similarly, Hazaribagh was termed as Shimla of Jharkhand instead of Netarhat

Members of Chhatra Jagaran Manch submitted a list of wrong answers of JPSC preliminary exam papers in various subjects like Political Science, Social Sciences, Public Administration, Geography, economics and Philosophy.

Appeasing the protesters, JPSC Chairman Shiv Basant assured them for taking stringent action against the setters of model paper answers on website saying they would be blacklisted.
