Ranchi: During a recent meeting headed by Chief Secretary SK Chaudhary to review the performances of big steel and power companies in Jharkhand, government has expressed deep dissatisfaction.

In the meeting, Chaudhary came down heavily on the steel and power companies including Tata Steel, Essar Steel, Bhushan Power & Steel Limited and Horizon Steel Company.

An ultimatum of one month also has been issued to these companies to either submit their action plan or be ready to face any strict move against them.

In an earlier review meeting on July 11, Jharkhand government had expressed its unhappiness over the performances of ArcelorMittal, JSW steel company, Hindalco and Bhushan Power & Steel Limited.

It should be mentioned that displeased over the poor performances, Jharkhand government has dismissed its MoU with 24 companies till now.
