Ranchi: With Odisha reportedly claiming three villages in Jharkhand as revenue areas, a Jharkhand Minister on Friday said a committee would be set up to take this up with the neighbouring state.

JMM legislator Vidoot Baran Mahato raised the issue during call attention in the assembly.

The MLA claimed that Odisha government had announced three Jharkhand villages, Kodia Mohapur, Deraghati and Kasipal, spread over 2000 acres, as revenue areas.

Land and Revenue Minister Mathura Mahto told the house that he would set up a committee, which would meet Odisha government officials on the issue.

The Minister said he would include the MLA in the committee.
