Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday accorded sanction to the creation of 80 posts of various categories five new Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) to be set up in the state.
The State Cabinet which met here under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah sanctioned 80 posts of various categories five new ITIs to be set up at Gurez, Hajin, Nowshera, Bani and Banihal.
The Cabinet also approved the transfer of state land measuring 93 kanals (11 Acres) situated in Sangani village of Jammu district in favour of state Health and Medical Education Department for construction of an Ayurvedic College, an official spokesman said.
The Cabinet also approved regularisation of 3 retired In-charge Chief Engineers as Chief Engineers.
