Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government on Friday said it has expended Rs 22 crore on creation of tourism infrastructure in Kargil district of Ladakh region.

Rs 22 crore has been spent on creation of tourism infrastructure in Kargil, Tourism and Culture minister Nawang Rigzin Jora said here on Friday.

Besides, Rs 12 crore has been expended on development of tourism-related infrastructure and development of scenic spots at Kargil, Drass, Panikar and Sankoo under Prime Minister's Reconstruction Programme, he said.
