Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government is mulling introduction of data management technology for state's farmers to help them get round-the-clock information on agriculture.

Announcing this on Wednesday, state's Agriculture Minister Ghulam Hassan Mir said the government was actively considering the proposal, which will help farmers get vital agricultural inputs.

The technology will help in giving agricultural information like weather forecast and crop disease prediction. It will also equip the agriculture department with a database of farmers.
