Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir government on Wednesday said that 400 new sub-health centers would be established in the state during the current fiscal.

"The government would establish 400 new sub-health centers during the current financial year,” said Minister of State for Health, Shabir Ahmad Khan.

"In this regard the Central government has in principle agreed to provide funds under National Rural Health Mission to the state," Shabir Ahmad Khan said while addressing a public meeting at the border village of Kakora, in Rajouri district.

He added that a sub-health centre would also be opened in Kakora village.
