"Our chief aim is to challenge communal forces. So our party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), will discuss stitching alliances with different parties with an open mind," Soren told reporters.
Stating that the ruling three party alliance led by the JMM was functioning well, Soren said alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Congress could be continued.

To a query, he said there was no proposal to contest in alliance with Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) of Babulal Marandi, but the party's executive committee meeting on Wednesday would discuss all issues.
Assembly polls in Jharkhand are slated later this year.
