Patna: A number of people who aspire to become millionaire by adopting short-cut and illegal methods, but eventually end up getting cheated and losing their hard earned money. A similar incident came to light in Patna, where more than 500 people were conned by a job placement company ‘Green India’.

A group of people informed Bihar police that the company had duped each one of them by Rs 20,000 under the guise of providing a job in foreign country. Following which, the Bihar police in a raid on Saturday seized 500 passports of Bihar and Jharkhand residents from the job placement company.

Even though employees of the firm were arrested, the owner managed to escape.

During investigation, police team had collected information about the two other branches of the company in Kolkata and Mumbai.
