New Delhi: The armies of India and Singapore are holding a month-long joint exercise named 'Bold Kurukshetra' at Babina in Jhansi, to further strengthen the defence cooperation between the two nations.

According to army officials, the exercise, which started on March 1 and would continue till March 29, encompasses multi-tiered planning, use of new generation equipment and joint execution of mission by artillery batteries and combat groups.

Besides matching each other's capability in artillery fire power, the two armies would also hone up their skills in anti-militancy exercises, the officials said.
