Spice Pinnacle FHD

Price: Rs 16,990

Spice Telecom has launched its new Full-HD (FHD) smartphone, Spice Pinnacle in India. The 5 inch FHD phone is priced at Rs 16,990.

The phone is powered by 1.5 GHz Quad Core processor with an 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded to 32 GB using micro SD card. It runs on an Android Jelly Bean 4.2 operating system with 1 GB RAM.

The phone features an 8 mega-pixel rear facing camera with auto focus and LED flash. It also has a 2 mega-pixel front facing camera. It has an impressive 12.7 display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. Other features supported by the phone are Bluetooth, Wi-fi, proximity sensor, G-sensor, light sensor and GPS/AGPS among others.

The phone is available for pre-booking exclusively on www.saholic.com from July 11. It will be available in stores across the country form July 20.

XOLO Play T1000

Price: Rs 15,999

XOLO, a domestic brand known for launching the first Intel-based smartphone, has now unveiled its new smartphone, ‘Xolo Play T1000, which has been priced at Rs 15,999.

The smartphone is powered by 1.5 GHz NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor. XOLO Play T1000 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.  The device features 4.7-inch IPS display with 720p resolution. It also possesses 8MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. The phone comes with 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot and 1900 mAh battery.

Other features of the phone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS. XOLO Play is available for purchase on the company’s website, xolo.in and in retail stores across the country.

Micromax Canvas 4

Price: Rs 17,999

Launch of Micromax Canvas 4 was undoubtedly most anticipated in India. The company had put the phone on pre-order with a booking amount of Rs 5000. If reports are to believed, 11,500 people booked the phone within a week without even knowing its specifications and price.

Canvas 4 has a 5-inch screen, same as its predecessor. The smartphone also has a 13 megapixel camera and1GB RAM. The storage is expandable with a microSD card. It is powered by Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and has battery capacity of 2,000mAh.

The newly launched smartphone has a special unique feature in which the phone unlocks by just blowing a kiss on the screen. It has also borrowed the eye-tracking feature from Samsung Galaxy S4 in which looking away from the screen while watching a video pauses the video and resumes play only when the user looks back at the screen.

LG Optimus G Pro

Price: Rs 42,500

Korean electronics major LG has launched its much awaited LG Optimus G Pro in India, with a price tag of Rs 42,500 - the highest priced phone from LG's stable for Indian market.

Built on Android Jellybean platform, the phone has 13 megapixel rear camera and 2.1 MP front full HD camera. This phone has features, wherein both cameras can record video simultaneously and a user can see the images on the same screen while recording.

LG Optimus G Pro comes with 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 16 GB. It has battery capacity with 3, 140 mAh. It has features such as upgraded Q Slide, Live Zooming and Quick Memo. Other features in the smartphone include Q Remote, Audio Zoom, Video Wiz, Magic Remote Pad.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini & Zoom

Samsung has launched its much awaited Galaxy S4 ‘Mini’ and Galaxy Zoom smartphones in India for a price of Rs 27,990 and Rs 29,900 respectively.

Galaxy S4 Mini, available in Frost white and Black mist colours, features a 4.3 inch qHD Super AMOLED display along with a 256 ppi pixel density.

The phone is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor supported by a 1.5 GB RAM. The phone runs on an Android 4.2.2 operating system, topped by Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX layer.

Another interesting feature of the phone is its camera. The phone supports an eight mega-pixel rear facing camera as well as a 1.9 mega-pixel HD front facing camera. It has 8 GB on board memory, of which 5 GB is user accessible, which can be expanded to 64 GB with the help of microSD card.
Galaxy Zoom, on the other hand comes with a 16 mega-pixel CMOS Sensor, 16x optical zoom, Optical Image Stabiliser (OIS) and Xenon Flash.
