London: Teen sensation Justin Bieber has reportedly taken over Ashton Kutcher's prankster role in a revamped version of TV show 'Punk'D'.

The series, which kicked off in Los Angeles on August 26 with 17-year-old Bieber acting as the first celebrity trickster, targeted Taylor Swift, a website reported.

Kutcher, 33, had earlier said that teaming up with the 'Baby' hitmaker to re-launch the MTV series, in which the actor played practical jokes on unsuspecting stars, was a possibility.

No details of Bieber's prank on Swift have been revealed yet.

Kutcher will serve as the series creator while different stars will take turns to host and play pranks on other celebrities in each episode.
