Gwalior: In a bid to firm his regional hold in the state, Union Minister of State for Commerce and MPCA president Jyotiraditya Scindia visited his constituency Shivpuri along with Gwalior and advised block level party workers to discharge their duties properly.

Addressing the party workers, he emphasized on unity of the party workers in the state. He also went to Guna and Datiya to meet the party office bearers. He held meetings with the councillors of the Municipal Corporations and said there should no groupism in the party.

Sensing the widening support base of Congress general secretary Digvijay Singh in the state, Scindia also wants to strengthen his regional hold to make his presence felt in national politics.
