Patiala: Out of 20 Indian Kabaddi players who were tested positive during the Kabaddi World Cup, 14 have been found positive in the B-Sampling test also.

Few days back, National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) had publically declared the B-Sampling report of 10 players as positive. Now, four more dope taints have joined the party.

All these 14 players have been instructed to put forth their views before the Anti Doping Disciplinary Panel (ADDP).

It is worth mentioning that, NADA had taken dope samples of 51 Indian players prior to the Kabaddi World Cup out of which 20 players were found positive.

All these tainted players were instructed to go through with the B-Sampling test.

Among these 20 players, 10 gave their samples in the NADA drug testing lab whereas the remaining 10 submitted their written applications to NADA for further probe.

Confirming this NADA Director General Rahul Bhatnagar said, “Out of these 10 players, four players named Gursewak Singh (Nawashahar), Surjeet Singh (Ludhiana), Varinder Singh Monga and Paramjeet singh (Sangroor) have been found positive in B-Sampling test”.

“All these tainted players have been instructed to put forth their views before ADDP. The reports of remaining players will be issued within a week” he added.
