"Let ten Scindias come to campaign against me, I will win more than three times the votes compared to the last time from Mhow constituency," Vijayawargiya said in Indore, talking to reporters.
The BJP minister reportedly wanted ticket from another Assembly constituency for November 25 elections.
Vijayawargiya said that Congress's position in Guna Lok Sabha constituency, represented by Scindia, was worse than before and Scindia should focus there.
"Scindia could not help Congress succeed in the Assembly seats falling under his Lok Sabha seat. How will he help Congress candidate defeat me from Mhow," he said.
"Earlier, Congress revolved around `Raja' (Digvijay Singh) and now it revolves around `Maharaja' (Scindia)," Vijayawargiya said.
According to sources, the Industries Minister wanted the ticket from Indore-3 seat, a Congress stronghold, instead of Mhow this time, but BJP high command sprang a surprise by fielding state BJP vice president Usha Thakur from there.
In 2008 Vijayawargiya had defeated Congress's Antar Singh Darbar by a margin of 9,791 votes from Mhow seat.
