Fatehpur: Addressing public rallies during his Jan Swabhiman Yatra in Bindki and Jahanabad, BJP national vice-president Kalraj Mishra made several announcements related to elections.

Addressing the rallies on Wednesday, Mishra said that if the BJP comes in power, it will grant loans to farmers at one percent interest.

“Families are unhappy when a girl child takes birth. The BJP will give Rs 1 lakh to parents who give birth to girl child so that she is not seen as a burden on them,” he said.

Speaking with Dainik Jagran, Mishra said that the BJP was not in favour of hurried division of Uttar Pradesh.

He said that there should be a duly referendum before division on the state.

“For this, study should be conducted and a commission should be constituted. It is too early to talk about division of the state,” he added.

Mishra also demanded probe in Kamla case. “BJP leader Smriti Irani will soon meet Kamla in this regard,” he said.

He added that farmers were not receiving manure, power which is affecting Rabi sowing. Mishra said that the BJP will soon release a list of candidates and will fight elections to form government.
