Excited Kapil took to Twitter to seek wishes from his fans. He wrote, “First day of my film shoot.. Need ur blessings.. Love u all”

Co-actor Arbaaz Khan also posted a picture after the mahurat shot with the directors Abbas Mastan and Kapil. He tweeted, “Mahurat shot just done ! Kapil sharma makes his film debut. It's a super comedy. Looking forward to working with him.”

On the other hand, celebs from Bollywood wished him luck for his first film. Actor Abhishek Bachchan tweeted, “@KapilSharmaK9 all the best. Good luck!” Actress Sophie Choudry wrote, “@KapilSharmaK9 all the best to u, @ElliAvram and the team!! You will be awesome!!”

It was reported that Kapil will make his Bollywood debut with 'Bank Chor' but YRF dropped him for unknown reasons and cast Riteish Deshmukh instead.

Half Greek, half Swedish model-turned actress Elli Avram will be seen romancing the comedian in Abbas-Mustan's next directorial film. She debuted with the film Micky Virus, opposite Manish Paul, last year. Abbas-Mustan's next venture is a comedy film which will have around five actresses romancing Kapil and will be shot extensively in foreign places.
