"The whole nation is too excited. I wish him (Tendulkar) all the best. He is such a fantastic player and I think everyone is waiting for the match," Karisma told reporters Wednesday at a painting exhibition.

"I will definitely try (to take an off and watch the match) and I think the whole nation is going to do that," she added. Tendulkar has decided to retire from cricket after playing his 200th Test match against the West Indies.

Karisma tied knot with Sunjay Kapoor in 2003 but within a year their marriage hits the rock. Karisma is living in Mumbai while Sunjay is staying Delhi.

Following her separation from her husband Sunjay Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor is now rumoured to be in a relationship with 35-year-old Sandeep Toshniwal, a Mumbai-based health firm’s CEO.
