Mumbai: Karisma Kapoor who featured in Yash Chopra's 'Dil Toh Pagal Hain' is going to pay special tribute to the late filmmaker Yash Chopra at an awards event.

Says a source, “Karisma is slated to attend an awards event on November 25 in Dubai where she will perform a tribute to Chopra in a musical extravaganza.” The awards that honours Bollywood besides the leading lights of the Asian community in Dubai has the actress as the stellar attraction.

 “Lolo has not performed for a while. She will be seen on stage after a long hiatus. The event folks have lined up a glitzy and glam event. Designer Manish Malhotra will be performing a tribute to 100 years of Indian cinema as well. It will have several other B-Town folk as well in attendance,” adds the source.

After her comeback in Vikram Bhatt’s Dangerous Ishqq, Karisma does not seem to be keen to pick up another film. She seems content endorsing products and attending events. She was recently seen at the launch of a luxury car along with sister Kareena. That apart there has always been intermittent buzz about her personal life but she has always been tightlipped on that front.

The actress had featured in the late filmmaker’s 1997 film Dil Toh Pagal Hai with Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Lolo had even bagged the National Award for Best Supporting Actress for the film.

A source from the awards event says, “Katrina has the maximum number of hit song in her kitty since the past few years. All we can say is that Kat is totally worth it!” We also heard that the actress is slated to share a part of her earnings from this event with her mother to support her NGO.Looks like Kat will have a perfect start to her New Year.
