New Delhi: Karunuday Singh kept himself in contention for twin titles by winning the doubles trophy and setting up a summit clash against compatriot Vijayant Malik in the singles event of the USD 10,000 ITF Futures tournament here on Friday.

Eight seed Karunuday came from behind to shock fourth seed N Prashanth 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the singles semifinal.

It was though little easy for Vijayant as he won his semifinal encounter after sixth seed Swede and last week's winner Patrik Rosenholm retired mid-way.

Malik was leading 7-5, 3-0 when Ropsenholm opted out of the contest.

In the doubles final, top seeded pair of Karunuday and Russian Vitali Reshetnikov rallied to beat fourth seed pair of Prashant and A Rajagopalan 5-7, 6-2, 10-4 to lift the trophy.
