New Delhi: Abu Jundal, one of the handlers in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case currently lodged in Arthur road jail in Mumbai, claimed that the lone surviving terrorist Mohammad Ajmal Amir Kasab, who was on Wednesday sentenced to the gallows by the Supreme Court, will not survive for more than 6 months.

Jundal claimed this when he saw Kasab in the Arthur road jail premises.

“As soon as Jundal saw Kasab in the Arthur road jail premises, he said, it is sure that Kasab will not survive more than six months,” according to a Mumbai Crime branch official.

Significantly, Jundal was brought face-to-face on August 10 in the Arthur Road jail in connection with the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack case. Kasab has identified Jundal as one of the handlers who instructed the team of 10 terrorists that struck Mumbai on November 26, 2008.

It is to be noted that Jundal has taught Hindi to Kasab in Pakistan.

To make its case full-proof against Jundal, the Mumbai Crime branch has brought him to face Kasab. At that point in time, both have identified each other.
