After his meet with Home Minister Rajnath Singh Omar said that ‘it's very important that a political dialogue be initiated with stake holders of Jammu and Kashmir’.

This is the second visit of Singh in a month to the valley where unrest has been continuing for 47 days ever since Hizbul Mujahedeen terrorist Burhan Wani was killed in an encounter with security forces on July 8.

As many as 66 persons, including two cops have been killed and several thousand injured in the clashes that began in the month of July.
