"We urge the state government to pass the pending Kashmiri Temples and Shrines Bill without any dilution in its provisions and include each and every temple under the purview of the proposed law," national spokesperson of All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC), a Kashmiri Pandits organization, C Bharati said.
He said representatives of various ground-level temple management committees have resolved that a diluted temple bill would not be acceptable to them.
"If government keeps any temple away from the purview of the bill, no management committee would let their temples to be taken over by the proposed board," Bharati said.
The bill, introduced in 2008, is pending with the select committee of J&K Legislature.
