London, Jan 26 (Agencies): The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star, Keira Knightley, is all set to star opposite actor Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg's new movie 'Cosmopolis'.

The Hollywood actress will replace French beauty Marion Cotillard after the pregnant actress backed out of the project due to schedule conflicts, Femalefirst reported.

The 24-year-old British actress will play the wife of Pattinson's character, Eric Parker in the big screen adaptation of Don DeLillo's novel, about a multi-millionaire asset manager who loses his fortune in 24 hours.

It is the second major cast change for the project with the 'Twilight' hunk previously replacing Colin Farrell after the Irish star withdrew to accept the lead role in 'Total Recall' remake.

Production is scheduled to begin in May in New York City and Toronto.
