Kejriwal later tried to put forward a brave face through his official Twitter account, saying violence is not the solution to any problem and his detractors can ask him to come to any particular place and he would duly oblige.

“I am just thinking - why am i being repeatedly attacked? Who r the masterminds? What do they want? What do they achieve?” Kejriwal tweeted.

“Is violence an answer to country's problems? let them tell me place n time. I will come there. Let them beat me as much as they want...... .......but will that solve the problems?” he further said.

“Sachai ki dagar badi kathin hai. Par last mein jeet to sachai ki hoti hai,” he added in his tweet.

Kejriwal received sympathetic replies from his Twitter followers after he was attacked again in the national capital with many encouraging him to keep fighting against the country’s corrupt forces.

Some of his fans even advised Kejriwal to take security as he was repeatedly being attacked, though the former Delhi chief minister did not say anything in this regard.

The attacker, who has been identified as an auto-rickshaw driver named Lalli, said he was upset with Kejriwal’s unfulfilled promises.
