Dehradun: Within moments after Bhuwan Chandra Khanduri took over as the new Uttarakhand Chief Minister for the second time, he stated firmly to eradicate corruption from the state.

During his first Cabinet meeting, the CM said that government will introduce Unclaimed Property Act and Right to Public Service Rights Act within two months.

Directing all ministers and administrative officers to declare their assets within a month, Khanduri said, “The Chief Minister would also be brought under the aegis of Lokayukta system.”

Talking with reporters just after the first Cabinet meeting, Khanduri said curbing corruption and delivering good governance will be his top priority.

Khanduri also said his government would bring strong Lokpal Bill incorporating suggestions of Team Anna and a committee would be formed under a retired judge of the Suprem Court.
