New Delhi: A member of erstwhile Team Anna, Kiran Bedi, has now staked claim over IAC (India Against Corruption), an informal body set up to fight corruption which was formed at the initiative of prominent anti-corruption crusader Arvind Kejriwal.

Retired IPS officer, Bedi, has said that IAC is now originally being led by her and the people who are going to join electoral politics should float a new organization. She further claimed that IAC as an anti-graft movement is still alive under her leadership.

However, Anna Hazare and Arvind Kejriwal have not yet reacted to Bedi’s latest claims. Kiran Bedi has been associated with IAC since its beginning as a movement. A new page on facebook has also been created in the name of India Against Corruption and efforts are on to invite those who have been feeling marginalized in the functioning of the movement to play a prominent role.
Meanwhile, amid reports of raging differences between Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi, Anna has left for his native village- Ralegan Siddhi.

While talking to journalists on his way, he said, “May almighty endow wisdom to those who are indulged in acts of corruption.”

When asked to speak on Kejriwal’s political move, Anna declined to comment.
