Dehradun: India against Corruption (IAC) activist and former top cop Kiran Bedi is confident of Anna Hazare’s drive in favour of effective Lokpal. While ensuring that guilty will be behind bars, she said that IAC till now have succeeded in its cause. The government will pass Lokpal Bill during next session added Bedi.

Commenting on Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP, Kiran Bedi said that she is not in favour of his political outfit. Bedi further added that she is not a politician and hence can’t comment on success and failure of the party.

Former top cop was in Dehradun to participate in a film festival. Here, she watched documentary based on her own life ‘Yes, Madam, Sir’ which was screened in India for the first time. Meanwhile, Kiran Bedi said that she herself watched this documentary for the first time and now Doon residents watched before her family do.

While replying to the questions of audience, Bedi said that she had faced challenge to perform well during her entire career but political intervention didn’t allow her to work freely. However, she didn’t care much about it and considered every day a new day.

While expressing concern, she said that if each government officer works with true spirit, nation will prosper but they work under constant pressure of transfers and postings.
