New Delhi: In order to promote horticulture and tourism sector, the Delhi Tourism and Transport Development Corporation will develop ‘Kisan Haat’. It will be developed as ‘Nature Market’ by the end of September this year.

The main motive behind starting ‘Kisan Haat’ is to promote the sale of improved varieties of fruits and vegetable seeds, organic fertilizers, agriculture related equipments etc. More so, it will make people aware about the natural environment.

The Managing Director of the Delhi Tourism, Vinay Bhushan informed ‘Kisan Haat’ will be first-of-its kind where different culture and tradition from different states will be showcased.

The ‘Nature Market’ will spread across 7000 square metre and will be equipped with modern technology. There will be 110 shops including handicraft and homemade articles shop from different states. 

To beef up the security at the ‘Kisan Haat’ CCTV cameras will be installed. Special arrangements for parking will be made. An entry fee would be charged from visitors.
