Here, We bring few facts about Women's T20 World Cup...

Ten international Women's cricket teams are particapating in the tournament. These teams are divided in two groups of five teams each. Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa and Sri Lanka are in Group A, Bangladesh, England, India, Pakistan and West Indies are in group B.

A total of 22 matches are to be played at six venues and the final match is schuduled to be played on the same day and venue as men's, Kolkata, Eden Gardens. This is the fifth Women’s World Twenty 20 tournament and Australia is aiming to win a fourth consecutive title.

England won the first edition of the tournament and was involved in the most recent two finals as well, losing out to Southern Stars (Australian Women's team) on both occasions. The only other side to contest a Women’s World Twenty20 final are New Zealand, who were runners up in the first two editions of the competition.
