Ghaziabad: Former Chairman of Farm Corporation of India and expert on agricultural matters, Dr Krishnveer Choudhary, will head for Geneva on Monday to participate in the World Trade Organisation (WTO) summit to be held on December 16-17. 

Dr Choudhary, who is also the president of India’s largest farmers’ organization Bharatiya Krishak Samaj, will represent the country at the WTO summit.  Commerce Ministers from around 166 nations will be participating in the WTO meeting.

Choudhary, who has the distinction of representing India for the second time after two years, said he will raise the issue of Indian farmers and their farming problems.
