New York: Pop star Lady Gaga is partnering with Barneys store for a Christmas campaign which will be her interpretation of Santa Claus' workshop.

The 25-year-old will get creative assistance from Eli Sudbrack and Christophe Hamaide Pierson of Assume Vivid Astro Focus, as well as her fashion director Nicola Formichetti for the project called Gaga's Workshop, according to reports.

Campaign visuals, including a cartoon rendering of Gaga with long blue hair and a sparkly red jumpsuit, will be used to decorate shopping bags and other packaging, and will be featured on the company's website.

"Lady Gaga is a rare cultural phenomenon, not only because of her exceptional talents as a singer, songwriter and performer, but also with regard to her support of equality and individuality and status as a fashion icon.

"Partnering with her in this unprecedented collaborative way to create the largest and most all-encompassing holiday theme that Barneys has ever mounted is a thrill. As a New York City landmark, we wanted to celebrate Lady GaGa as a fellow
New Yorker and amazing talent," said Mark Lee, CEO.

The 'Judas' hitmaker will take over an entire floor of Barneys' Madison Avenue flagship men's store for her project starting in mid-November.
