New Delhi: A 24-year-old woman committed suicide on Monday morning by leaping off an elevated metro station here onto the road below, police said.

Karishma Narang, a teacher in a private school, jumped down onto the road from east Delhi's Preet Vihar metro station around 8 a.m.

She was found near metro pillar number 95 and was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead.
