Patna: Making fun of RJD patriarch Lalu Prasad Yadav and LOJPA supremo Ram Vilas Paswan, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said on Sunday, “These people have become like NRIs. Occasionally, they appear to comment and then they go back.”

While talking to reporters here he said, “They must stay here. For Bihar politics it is important that the Opposition should stay active.”

“We don’t want a weak Opposition but the problem is that the Opposition in Bihar is totally inactive and when they sense their political wilderness, they join JD(U),” he added.

Pointing towards Food and Civil Supplies Minister Shyam Rajak and party spokesperson Sanjay Singh, Nitish said, “They have also joined the JD(U) and are doing well.”

“It’s not my job to make the Opposition powerful,” said the Chief Minister.
