Patna: Targeting the Nitish Kumar government, Rashtriya Janata Dal president Lalu Prasad Yadav has now decided to hold a `maha dharna' against corruption in Patna.
Before leaving for Delhi on Friday, the RJD supremo announced to hold ‘maha dharna’ against the state government in Patna.

“There are rumours about me campaigning in Delhi to become minister, but now I will stay like a common man in Patna and expose the government,” Prasad told the reporters.
“People of the state are being intimidated by taking my name but they know that Nitish Kumar simmers when my name is taken,” he added.

Taking a potshot at the his former party colleague, Ahmed Shakel, who joined J (DU) recently, Lalu said that he wishes he become the law minister of the state.

Prasad said, “Current scenario of the state is in bad shape. Corruption is at the hilt. Bribing is gradually becoming a norm to get the work done. Crime rate is also increasing with each passing day. Educational system is collapsing. The new grading system will only help rich to take admission. The ‘ration’ is out of stock in shops under public distribution system. There is no electricity even during ramzan,”

Slamming the NDA government, Lalu charged that the state government is misleading the people by demanding ‘special status’ for Bihar.

Prasad also targeted Anna by saying that Lokpal bill cannot be decided with consents of two parties –congress and BJP. There are other political parties as well to give suggestions.
