Patna: RJD supremo Lalu Prasad will launch his 'Parivartan Yatra' from September 19 the same day when Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar's 'Adhikar Yatra' will take off.

Prasad will mobilize public support during the week-long tour for ouster of the NDA government because of alleged deteriorating law and order, corruption in welfare schemes, etc, state unit RJD spokesman Randhir Yadav said.

He would address public meetings in Begusarai district on the inaugural day and then visit Khagaria, Bhagalpur, Munger and Lakhisarai to wind up the tour on September 23.

Prasad, who was earlier scheduled to undertake the tour from September 16, deferred it due Vishawkarma puja.
