The ordinance brought out by the government has already faced criticism from several opposition parties, which some alleged was a route to "favour the interests of the corporates and real estate barons."
"If the new ordinance is not in the favour of farmers SP is not in its favour," Akhilesh told reporters here. On being asked about the Goods and Service Tax he said, "There should be no revenue loss to the state from this."
Referring to some schemes and projects launched by the state government in 2014 he said,"We have gone ahead in terms of development. To take our achievements before the people is a challenge so that they can no understand how SP government is different from others."
He said that that the year 2015 and 2016 were important for SP. "We have to inform the people about our schemes, which cannot be publicised. Besides we have to complete projects like metro rail and Agra-Lucknow expressway," he said.

Referring to the battery-operated rickshaw scheme the Akhilesh said that it would be implemented in the next budget.
