Greater Noida: Allahabad High Court has completed the hearing on the petitions filed by the farmers from 12 villages of Noida extension. The Greater Noida Authority has also submitted its reply in the court.

The court will also seek reply in connection with allotment of farm house in Asgarpur village. Speaking on behalf of the farmers, advocate Mukesh Rawal said the High Court has asked the Noida authority to file the answer regarding the allotment of farm house in Asgarpur village.

It should be learnt that 63 villages of the state including the 11 from Noida Extension had filed cases in Allahabad High Court to challenge the land acquisition.

Earlier, petitions of Greater Noida’s farmers regarding the land acquisition by the authority were heard in the High Court. It is expected that the High Court will give its verdict regarding all cases after the Durga Puja holidays.
