Moscow: The last Ilyushin Il-76 jetliner, which has been built in collaboration between Russia and Uzbekistan, will be brought to Russia for the delivery to the client, Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov told reporters on Tuesday.

Cooperation between the Tashkent Chkalov Aircraft Plant and the Russian United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) will end then, Ivanov said. He recalled integration plans and said they did not come true.

"The Chkalov plant has always been making only one model of aircraft, Il-76. The UAC has an IL-76 contract with Jordan, and it will be accomplished soon. There are no other orders for this type of aircraft," he said.

The modernised Il-76, Il-476, will be produced at the Aviastar plant in Ulyanovsk, Ivanov said. "Test flights will start at the plant before the end of this year."
