Recently, the technology giant Lava has raised curtain from its latest budget smartphone X81 with metallic design in the country. Priced at Rs 11,500, the smartphone will be available via online shopping giant Flipkart from June 13.

Following are the specification of the device:

  • Lava X81 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution.
  • The 2.5D curved display of the smartphone is protected by a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
  • The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz MediaTek Quad Core processor.
  • The smartphone offers 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded by up to 64GB using a microSD card.
  • Lava X81 features a 13 MP rear camera offering dual LED flash and 5 MP front snapper, also with a LED flash and 84 degree wide angle lens.
  • The cameras offer some interesting features such as 'Pic Focus' for sharp focus on the subject with blurred background, just like in professional camera.
  • Another feature is the 'Wide Selfie' which enables the user to add more people/objects in every selfie.
  • The connectivity options of the device include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
  • The smartphone is backed by a 2,700 mAh battery.

The company is also offering Airtel double data offer with the smartphone. Along with this, the consumers will get 6 months warranty for the in-box accessories, which include battery, headset, charger and a USB Cable. Additionally, consumers will get 1 year free screen replacement warranty if they purchase the smartphone within the first month of launch.
