Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi's efforts to strengthen cooperative federalism in the country, Shah said, “PM gave a concept of Team India in executing plans and it was implemented as NITI Aayog.”

Clearing the stand over BJP's CM pick Kiran Bedi for the national capital, Shah said country's first IPS officer has always stood against corruption and the saffron party supports everyone who takes initiatives to curb it.

“Kiran ji fought against crime and corruption all life, BJP is with everyone who fights against corruption, she joined BJP on same lines,” Shah said while addressing a press conference in Bihar.

The BJP on Friday also launched a scathing attack on JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar, accusing him of breaking ties with it to pursue his 'personal ambition' of becoming Prime Minister even as it asserted that its 'Vijay Rath' would roll in Bihar when Assembly polls will be held later this year.

Amit Shah, who was in Bihar on Friday for the first time after assuming charge as the party president, attacked Kumar and RJD Chief Lalu Prasad for joining hands.

He accused both of them of going against the teachings of Kapoori Thakur by joining hands with Congress, the party which, Shah said, the veteran socialist leader had fought all his life.
