"The state government has declassified some files, but these do not throw up anything new. In fact, some independent researches have more information than these", Left Front chairman Biman Bose claimed.
"The central government should declassify files related to Netaji so that the shroud over his disappearance gets cleared", Bose said.
"If needed, there can be a discussion in Parliament on the issue of declassification", he said.
The West Bengal government had declassified Netaji-related 64 files, which were in its archives, in September last.
Speaking to the media after a meeting of the Left Front, Bose said that 'Deshprem Divas' (Patriotism Day) would be celebrated on the occasion of Netaji's birthday on January 23.
