Ranchi: Five left parties and Jharkhand Dishom Party (JDP) would organise a joint rally in Ranchi on Wednesday to protest against the state government's alleged anti-people policies.

The CPI, the CPI (M), the Forward Bloc, the RSP, the Marxist Coordination Committee and JDP will organise the rally at Morabadi in Ranchi in support of tribals, farmers and farm labourers, CPI leader A B Bardhan told a press conference in Ranchi on Tuesday.

The rally would highlight alleged displacement, forcible migration, acquisition of land and exploitation of natural resources in Jharkhand, according to a press release.

The release also demanded cancellation of all the 107 MoUs signed by different Jharkhand governments during the last 12 years.
