The battery of newly launched Lenovo A5000 has the ability to deliver 17 hours of talk-time and up to 792 hours in standby time on 3G networks.

Also, its 'quick charge' feature helps the battery get fully charged in just 3 hours. Not only this, with 15 minutes of charge, the smartphone can also provide user a talk time for 4 hours.

The dual-sim A5000 smartphone runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is powered with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6582) processor.

The smartphone is powered with 1GB of RAM and 8 GB of  inbuilt storage that can be expanded up to 32 GB with a  microSD card.

Available in Black and White variant, the rain and splash-proof screen of the device is 5-inch in size and has HD IPS display with a resolution of 720×1280 pixels.

The lenovo new launch features 8 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and 2 MP fixed-focus front-facing camera.

On connectivity front, the phone has GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth.

As of now, Lenovo A5000 has hit the Russian market and the company has not disclosed the date for its India launch yet.  Lenovo A6000 Plus and  Lenovo A7000 has already been launched in India.

The Lenovo new smartphone is up for sale in Russia for Rs 14,500 (approximately).
