The device, which was recently launched in India, was unveiled in China in February. What makes it a special deal is akin Lenovo's other smartphones, it also supports 4G LTE connectivity option.


The Lenovo P70 features a 5-inch IPS HD display with 720x1280 pixels resolution. THE Dual SIM requires Micro-SIM to be inserted, it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box.

The device is clocked at 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor complimented by 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU. On the connectivity front, the Lenovo P70 gets 16GB of inbuilt storage capacity which can be expanded upto 32 GB through a microSD card.

For great capturing experience, it boasts of a 13-megapixel camera on the rear surface with autofocus and LED flash, the front surface gets fitted a 5-megapixel camera on board.

Lenovo P70 gives 4G LTE,  3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity support.

The handset measures 142x71.8x8.9mm and weighs 149 grams It is available in Midnight Blue colour option.

The company claims that the 4000mAh battery fueling phone's operations gets fully charged in three hours and after charging it for 15 minutes. It can offer 4 hours of talk time because of its Quick Charge feature. The battery can offer up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 696 hours of standby time on 3G network.
